     If you want in-depth parental controls for your child’s computer, however, try the GOOGLE DIRECTORY listed below. When a site appears in a Google directory, that means it has been approved by the Open Directory project. The Open Directory is both picky and slow, thus guaranteeing that a site is better than average and has been around for quite awhile, at least by Internet standards.
